What is the name of the light that projects a starry night onto your room?

It is a dodecahedron (12-sided) ball that has holes in it to project what look slike stars all over the walls and ceilings of the room it is in.

I need to know either what it’s called or where I can get one.

A home planetarium projector.

You can find a wide assortment of them on the web, ranging from ones which are no more than elaborate night lights for children (such as the one in the link you provided) to ones that project images familiar to amateur astronomers complete with rotation of the sky and the ocassional meteor.

The first link listed below will provide you with examples of lower priced models for children vs the second and third links which describe a considerably more elaborate (and expensive) unit.
