Should I use Watercolors or Oil paint for "Starry Night"?

I would love to try to paint Starry Night, and I have a vast variety of colors in watercolor (about 20 paints), and about 8 oil paints, which would be better?

use oil, part of the fun of the starry night painting is it’s texture which you can’t get with watercolor…

acrylic is better, starry night is a very dark painting with bright colors across the background, using oil paint would further darken the medium…thats usually a feature of oil paint. watercolor on the other had would be too brightr.

since you only have oils and watercolors, if you want to reproduce starry night, choose oil, because that was the original medium
